Today mom is feeling great! She has just taken a lap around the floor and now she is resting. This morning she had a headache and some nausea but nothing a little pain medicine could not take care of! She has not an appetite and the smell of food still makes her sick. Hopefully she will be able to eat something very soon. Her spirits are good and she appreciates all the prayers. We know how blessed we are to have each and every one of you as friends. We love you all and keep the prayers coming.

  1. YAY!! Praising God for your good day! I hate you have no appetite; that's a horrible way to diet CC!! hehe Isn't it horrible how it works, too, that the smell of food even makes you sick? This is no picnic you are on for sure, but knowing you, I am sure you find AND focus on the positives and not the negatives. That is why you are an inspiration to me and all who know you. If this gets you down from time to time, you are more than entitled my sweet, dear friend; you have more than earned it! You have the sweetest children keeping everyone well informed about their loving Mom. Keep walking your laps when you feel up to it knowing that we are gearing up for RELAY FOR LIFE soon to do the very same thing in your honor, Connie's and ALL "families" affected by this dreadful disease. GO-FIGHT-WIN!! (That is my imitation of a cheerleader; can you imagine me as one of those at my age? I can hear you laughing Natalie! You can stop now! :0) Love to you all, Donna

  2. We're sooooo glad to hear Charmaine had an easier day today! We are believing God to strengthen her body and her spirit with each passing day. We will begin to pray specifically for her appetite to pick back up soon.

All our love, James and Kristi

  3. I am so glad she had a better day today. Tell her we all love her and are praying that she stays strong and that her spirits stay uplifted. This is just a little moment in life that will pass just keep remembering that.

You are in my thoughts all day everyday!!

  4. I hope that your Mom has a great day today. I think about you all during the days as I am working, doing things at home, etc. I know being at the hospital must be so tough, but it is truly the best place to be. It sounds like you all have a great support team of doctors and nurses. Love you all - Mandi

  6. So glad that your mom is feeling better. Your family has been such a ministry to mine in so many ways without ya'll ever even doing anything but living your lives. I don't know your mom well personally but have been so inspired through Natalie's stories. Our family will be continuing to pray for Charmaine and the rest of your family. Much love in Christ-Stephanie Harper
